PIXIE DREAM Collection by Mona.Art.Lab – is a unique collection of builder gels, created in collaboration with the talented Mona.Art.Lab.
Each shade combines tenderness, a delicate shimmer and a touch of fairy tale, inspiring the creation of one-of-a-kind manicures.

Features:

• Acid-free.
• Medium consistency.
• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.
• Suitable for the "sculpting without filing" technique.
• Suitable for "top form" nail extensions.
• Does not cause a burning sensation in the lamp.
• Becomes thicker in the cold, thinner in warmth.
• Thixotropic – becomes thinner when the brush is moved during work.
• Can be additionally warmed to make the gel thinner.
• Hard at 1 mm thickness. If the thickness is less than 1 mm, it may bend slightly, but this does not affect wearability.
• Does not shrink and holds the arch well.
• Requires an underlay of Rubber Base.
• Polymerization wavelength 365-405 nm.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness 0.5 mm at the tip/ 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method: 

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after leveling.
3. Using a 220 grit nail file, gently file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and clean everything around the cuticle area and nail grooves.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base underlay has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. The Rubber Base underlay is best applied with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Trace all nail grooves and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Remove the tacky layer.
10. Level. If leveling with builder gel, leave a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. File the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail edge that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file out 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. This will prevent material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will start to separate from the hard material from the free edge.
13. After filing, remove the tacky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and shape it round.
3. Using a 220 grit nail file, gently file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.

9. Remove the tacky layer.
10. Place the nail form for free edge extension.
11. Apply clear builder gel to create the artificial nail shape. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and shape the nail as desired.
13. Wipe off the tacky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the nail file was used with Rubber Base again. Cure 30 seconds.
15. Level with builder gel, place in the lamp and pinch at the 10–15 second mark. If the gel has strong tackiness or contains glitter, pinch at the 20-second mark.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Remove the tacky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top. Cure 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.
