How to choose Shelly products
184 items look scarier than they are: the catalog splits into two parts, and each part has its own logic.
Coatings: all in 12 ml, the difference is in the type of base
Transparent bases are three, and the manufacturer distinguishes them simply by name: Rubber Base, Liquid Base, Hard Base. Camouflage and colored bases are nineteen, and they are divided into five families: Nude #01–#04, Milky White, Color #01–#06, Fiber #01–#05 with nylon fibers (in #04 and #05 also shimmer) and Opal #01–#03 with shimmer. The color palette is completed by 33 gel polishes with their own names — Arctic White, Ultra Black, Red Power, Cherry Icon. Tops are eight: glossy in two versions, with and without UV filter, matte Satin, milky and four colored ones. A separate section includes nine liquid polygels. This entire part is bottled in 12 ml, so there are never two cards of the same shade in different volumes here.
Care: read the ingredients, not the form
This is the largest part of the brand — 57 items for hands, 55 for feet and another three for body. The names are constructed the same way: product type plus active ingredients directly in the title — hand and nail cream with collagen, elastin and peony extract; with keratin, silver and arnica; with allantoin, snail extract and shea butter. The form is repeated in almost every line (cream, balm, cream-scrub, peeling roll, hydrogel mask, bath salt), so the composition is what you should compare. And note: cream-scrubs and peels Hand&foot are simultaneously in both care sections — seeing the same card twice is normal.
One product — four pack sizes
The same Shelly creams are produced in several volumes at once: sachets of 4 ml, sets of ten sachets, tubes of 30–45 ml and professional bottles of 200–500 ml. One sachet is enough for one procedure — hence the sense of a set of 10 for the salon, and the convenience of trying the product before buying half a liter. The composition within a line does not depend on volume, the only difference is in packaging. There are also slightly different formats: gift sets of creams 45 ml × 3, cream gloves and socks of 10 and 25 pairs, bath salts of 550 g.
Nail preparation and Soft blade line
Acid-free primer Ultrabond, dehydrator, and universal 3-in-1 degreaser are collected in special liquids together with disinfectant Touch Protect per liter; the rest of the auxiliary includes disposable manicure sets, pumice, small consumables. Pedicure chemicals are separated into the Soft blade line: cuticle remover 30 ml, gel keratolytics 100 and 200 ml, foam express softener and spa bath 500 ml. These are products with exposure time, and the manufacturer's instructions are not a formality here. Another three items are in the "Podology" section — antifungal preventive agent, deodorant with farnesol, and oil Stop Onycholichis.
