How to choose nail clippers
The choice is shorter than it seems: only 25 items, and almost all differ by two parameters — mechanism and millimeters. Brand, finish and the presence of a nail file have little effect on the work.
Two handles or a lever

Millimeters: 12, 14, 16 or 18
The number in the name is the length of the cutting part. 12 mm are taken for narrow plates and children's hands, 14 and 16 mm cover most adult hands, 18 mm in this list are in pedicure models (STALEKS PODO 30, EDLEN "Podo") — for thick toenails. If you hesitate between adjacent sizes, focus on the big toes: that's where the width first becomes insufficient. Doing both hands and feet with one tool is possible, but two pairs — 14–16 mm and 18 mm — turn out more convenient than a compromise in between.
"For ingrown nail" — about blade shape
Seven items are labeled this way: STALEKS EXPERT 61 (12 and 16 mm), SMART 71 (14 mm), PODO 30 (18 mm), EDLEN "Podo" 18 mm, TOUCH 16 mm, and RAIZ WORK form 9 at 16 mm. What they have in common is a narrower, usually curved working part that goes under the side roller. And that's all the label means. If the nail hurts, is swollen or inflamed, the tool does not solve this — here you need a doctor, not a purchase.
Six cards in the list are not about nails at all
The catalog brings adjacent tools here, and it's worth knowing in advance. Three are scissors: CLASSIC 62 TYPE 2, SMART 30 TYPE 1 and children's CLASSIC 32 TYPE 1. Two more are cuticle nippers "Eyes" PODO 10 and PODO 20 with a working part of 7 mm. And one card is splinter tweezers PODO 10. The rule that saves: 7 mm means cuticle, not nail.
