How to read the spatula name
The name in this category is a technical description, not marketing. «STALEKS. Spatula. Spatula EXPERT 90 TYPE 5 (beveled pusher + straight pusher)» breaks down as: series EXPERT, model 90, TYPE 5 — a specific pair of working ends, and in parentheses it is explained in words. The number after the series is the model, not the size: EXPERT 30 and EXPERT 90 are not «smaller and larger», but different bodies. Compare what is in parentheses.
Sokyrka, topirets, and WORK form — the same thing
Brands name the same ends differently. STALEKS writes «sokyrka», EDLEN on the same shape — «topirets», RAIZ codes the entire combination as «WORK form 1/1». Searching with one word will show you a third of the grid. Combo UNIQ: handle separate, ends separate
The most expensive mistake in this category is buying «Working part of spatula Combo UNIQ 13, topirets» and getting an attachment without a handle. Combo is a system: handle UNIQ 10 (there is also black 10b) plus replaceable working parts for it. The set is as follows: ring — 11, beveled pusher — 12, topirets — 13, curved blade — 14, straight blade — 15, round pushers narrow and wide — 16 and 17, flat straight (also scraper) — 18, curettes — 31, 32, and 33, pick — 34, files — 35–38. The logic is simple: one handle for everything, then you only buy what you actually work with.
Left-handedness is built into the number
Mirror models are marked with a number after the dot: EXPERT 30 TYPE 4.2 and «LEFT HANDED … TYPE 4.3» have the same set of ends, the difference is in the direction of the bend. In Combo, these are curettes 31 and 32, and it's here that it's easiest to make a mistake: the name says «bend left», but in parentheses in English — for right-handed. The English part talks about the hand, the Ukrainian part about geometry. In the «Property» filter there is a separate mark «For left-handed».
Pedicure spatulas are not enlarged manicure ones
PODO 10, PODO 20 and EXPERT 20 are curettes, including «hemisphere» and pick. And EXPERT 60 TYPE 3 and TYPE 4 have no pusher at all: there are two files, straight and with a curved end. If you were looking for something to push back cuticle, these are not them.
Wood, plastic, and how many in a pack
Orange sticks come in sets of 10, 50, and 100 pieces, the length is simply in the name — 75, 85, 110, or 150 mm. KODI plastic sticks are labeled as reusable and packaged in 50 pieces in seven colors, so they can be conveniently sorted by work zones. Disposable here is actually only wood.
Two details that are visible only in the name
Lightweight handle — this is the EXPERT 100 series, silicone — «Gummy» in UNIQ. Both are placed as separate marks in the «Property» filter, although you won't see the difference in photos.
