How to read the LUNAmoon catalog
The order is always the same: section → lineup → number → volume. The first three steps are obvious, the fourth is not, and it is the one where people most often pick the wrong card.
What the section consists of
The main weight is in three sections: gel polishes (291 items), builder gels (254), and camouflage and colored bases (86). Next come tops (57), nail drill bits (28), auxiliary materials and tools (26), special liquids and cosmetics (25), single-phase One step (19), clear bases (10), and design materials (10). If you are building a coating from scratch, it is more convenient to follow the work stages rather than sections: preparation → base → color or extension → top.
8 and 13 ml are two different cards
The main feature of the brand, and the main reason for surprise at checkout. In the main Gel Polish lineup of 130 numbers, 74 are bottled in two sizes — 8 and 13 ml. This is not a duplicate in the catalog: two products, two prices, two codes. The reflective Reflection Gel Polish works the same way. The number in the name indicates the shade and only the shade, so before adding to cart, look for "8 ml" or "13 ml" at the end of the name.
"Cat eye" is spread across four shelves
Gel polishes "Cat Eye" (#206–#258), Color "Cat Eye" (#264–#269), and "Magnetic Cat Eye" (#1–#8) are three separate lineups, each with its own numbering. The fourth shelf is Cat Eye Base #01–#08, but that is a base, not a color, and should be looked for among colored bases. None of them come with a magnet; the double-sided Magnet for Gel Polish Cat's eye is sold separately — in the brand's auxiliary materials or in the general magnets category.
The number lives within its lineup
Premium Builder Gel #09 is Pale peach, peach, in 15 ml. Premium Builder Gel "La Ballerina" #09 is a different gel, available in 15, 30, and 50 ml. The same goes for #19: in the main lineup it is Milky pink, in "La Ballerina" it is its own shade. The subseries has its own numbering, so the word in quotes in the name is more important than the number.
Packaging: from trial to studio size
Premium Builder Gel comes in 15, 30, 50, and 100 ml, Light Acrygel in 13, 30, and 50. Clear bases and tops in large format are 60 ml: RUBBER BASE clear, Strong Base, Non Wipe, NON WIPE UV, and Crystal. Nail Prep dehydrator is available in 150, 400, and 1000 ml. The logic is simple: what is used daily has a studio volume, and almost always the same product exists in a small size — something to start with before buying a liter.
Little details that are easy to miss
Among the drill bits, three thin "Corn" bits — Soft Red 4 mm, Balance Blue and Hard Green 5 mm — are also made by the manufacturer in a left-handed version; this is written in the name, and there is a separate value for it in the "Type" filter. Top forms come in packs of 120, gel tips in packs of 500. Seasonal items are sold only as a set: "CHRISTMAS STORY" — six bottles of 8 ml, Halloween "Shadows of Midnight" — five. And collaborations MUR MUR by Tina Karol and MAVKA.RYTHM fall outside the general numbering: instead of numbers, they have shade names, from Red Icon to Insight.
What to check before ordering
Four things: lineup, number, volume, and full name on the card. Take curing time and application method from the card itself — do not transfer instructions from one LUNAmoon lineup to another.
