How is the GÉMELY (ex GA&MA) catalog arranged?
There are two useful things to know about this brand. First: GA&MA and GÉMELY are the same brand, just different packaging generations. Second: numbering here belongs to the line, not the brand, so a shade number without the line name and volume means nothing.
Two names on the same shelf
If a familiar GA&MA item seems to have disappeared — most likely it is standing next to it under the label GÉMELY. The reverse also works. This is best seen in Max Color gel polishes: some numbers are still labeled GA&MA, some already GÉMELY, although the line is the same. Ten sections, very uneven in size
The assortment is distributed in a way that it is worth knowing in advance:
There are really only six transparent bases, and the choice takes a minute: Nano rubber base Clear in 15, 30 and 50 ml, two non-acid 'cold' ones — Soft Clear base and Soft Clear Cover base — and Light base in 10 ml, in the name of which the manufacturer specifies 'no HEMA'.
Three things to check together
An erroneous order here almost always has one reason: the number matched, but the line or volume did not.
Bases and tops. Cover base is still labeled GA&MA, Neo Cover Base is already GÉMELY. These are different lines with their own numbering, so '#7' in one and '#007' in another are different products; both are available in 15 and 30 ml. Similarly, Cover Top and Neo Cover Top coexist, and they are easier to distinguish than bases: in Cover Top the shades are named with words (Beige, Peony, Mirage, Euphoria), in Neo Cover Top they are numbered.
Gel polishes. Max Color is bottled in two volumes — 6 and 10 ml — so the same number does not mean the same bottle. Inside the line, there is also a named subgroup 'Black': Black Cherry, Black Plum, Black Wine, Black Cocoa and other deep shades that have no number at all. Cat Color ('cat eye') comes in 6 ml, and the magnet for it is not in gel polishes but in auxiliary materials — the general selection of magnets is in a separate section.
Extension gels. Fast builder gel and Power builder gel — both under the GÉMELY brand, both numbered, both in 15, 30 and 50 ml, Power also has trial 5 ml. So one number here is three or four different SKUs. Under the GA&MA brand remain Simple builder gel, Universal gel and Universal builder gel (the manufacturer labels them 'without filing'), Strong builder gel, gel jelly Hard Jelly Gel and Acrygel.
Where 'lost' items are located
Several items live not where you look for them. Top forms and gel tips — not in extension gels, but in forms and tips. Remover for one-phase gel polish — in special liquids, together with degreasers Soft prep and Strong prep in steps 100 → 250 → 1000 ml, dehydrators and cuticle removers, which differ in action: alkaline, enzymatic, with urea, quick-acting. In care, separate subsections are creams and oils — Hydro Intensive cream with urea has four fragrances, and each in four volumes: 30, 75, 250 and 400 ml. In design, the packaging is almost the same, 5 g, and the only exception is Mirror powder rubbing in 0.3 g, which it is pointless to compare 'by grams' with gels; analogues of other brands are in the section of rubbing powders and glitters.
Files, forms, bits
In nail files and bases — series File PRO and File PRO Comfort (150 and 180 grit, packs of 20, 50 and 100 pieces) and pedicure Podo file PRO in 100, 180 and 400 grit with metal bases for them. Bits Carbide Max are marked with a letter and color (A, B, D, F, H), next to diamond Carbide Cold and Carbide Pro and silicone polishers; the general catalog is in the bits section. The brand has only a few brushes.
