Number, volume and refill: how to read the EDLEN catalog
EDLEN numbers almost everything, but the number here works differently than it seems. It does not start over in each sub-line — it goes through the entire section, and the effect name only shows which range you are in.
The number is a range, not a separate series
In camouflage bases it is best seen: HOLOGRAM — No. 17–18, POTAL — No. 20–28, SHIMMER — No. 34–37, PIXIE — No. 38–40, NEON — No. 45–49, CANDY — No. 50–51, FLASH — No. 56–58, WINE — No. 59. That is, 'forties' are almost certainly neon, and 'fifties' are CANDY or FLASH. Similarly in nail extension: Builder gel Princess ends at No. 27, and No. 28 is already Office. The counter is common, so searching for 'Office No. 1' is futile.
No. and # — the same shade
The most expensive trifle of this section. 'Builder gel Princess No. 25, 15 ml' and 'Builder gel Princess #25, 30 ml' — the same shade in two packagings, just typed with different symbols; the same with No. 26 and #26. What this means in practice: searching for 'No. 25' will not show the larger bottle. Search by line name or check the SKU.
Volume does not exist for every number
Rubber base, Milk Top and Coconut Top really are in all four packagings. But Cover base POTAL No. 25 and No. 26 in the grid are only in 9 ml, French base #7 — in 9, 17 and 30 without the fifty. Do not transfer the set of volumes from one number to the next: first check that the required packaging is even produced.
REFILE — cartridge for a specific volume
The REFILE mark is duplicated in the name with the words 'REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGE': this is a replaceable block for an existing package, without a bottle and brush. It is important not only that the line matches, but also the milliliters — in Princess No. 21 the refill is 15 ml, and in Office No. 28 and No. 29 — 30. A 'refill for Office' without specifying the volume does not exist. If you don't have the corresponding package, take a regular jar. Refills are also available in transparent Rubber base (30 and 50 ml) and in No Wipe Top without UV filters.
Tops: three words carry the difference
The main fork is No Wipe Top 'with UV-filters', which the manufacturer recommends for light shades, and 'no UV-filters' for dark shades. Both are in 9, 17, 30 and 50 ml. Further, the section is read by the nature of the coating: Matte, Profi Matt (velvet), Milk, Coconut, Powder, Opal with shimmer, Hologram, Crystal, reflective Flash Silver. The bottles look similar, the names do not.
Gel polishes: no continuous series
Gel Polish Color goes by numbers in 9 ml, so volume is not a selection criterion at all — but the series itself has gaps: after No. 045 immediately No. 049, after No. 056 — No. 059. Cards with the note 'DISCOUNT'
Part of the names begins with 'DISCOUNT /'. This is a separate card, not a discount on a regular item, and in the grid it stands next to its full counterpart. Before placing an order, check what is in your cart.
