HEYLOVE. Upper Forms, Gel Tips

Upper forms and gel tips in working shapes: Square, Almond, Coffin, Stiletto. Forms (120 pieces each) are for extending with gel without filing. Tips (500 pieces each) are ready-made length that attaches to Fix Tips base in minutes.

Form or tip. An upper form is a mold: gel is placed inside, polymerized, and the form is removed. You control the C-curve and architecture. A tip stays on the nail as ready-made length, simply covered with material. Forms give more control; tips give speed.

Two typical mistakes with upper forms: too much material and inaccurate form placement. Less gel, placement exactly along the cuticle line—and the extension is indistinguishable from a natural nail.

Where to start. Take the shape clients ask for most often: Square Medium or Almond Medium.

Which gel should I use on upper forms?

Frame Gel or Jelly Gel from the builder gels section. Both hold their shape and do not run.

How are gel tips attached?

With Fix Tips base: a thin layer of base, place the tip, polymerize through it in the lamp.

Why are upper forms better than lower forms?

Speed and predictability: the C-curve is set by the form, and filing is minimal. Lower forms remain a tool for complex custom architectures.
