Carbide burrs for manicure and pedicure are made from hard alloys containing tungsten and other elements. Diamond grinding is used to shape and sharpen the cutting edge. These manicure burrs are durable, productive, and heat up much less during operation.
Carbide burrs can work in one direction - clockwise (standard) and in both directions (reversible).
Unlike other bits, carbide ones cut the material, producing chips instead of dust. Most often, carbide burrs are used to remove the top horny layer of heels and calluses. Also, these burrs are perfect for reducing the thickness of gel and acrylic during correction or removal of artificial nails.
