Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — structuring gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush while holding its given shape well and does not run during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to lay out in top forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise structuring without rushing. The dense controlled consistency allows working with several forms at once without worrying that the material will seep or lose the required architecture. Delicate sparkles add a special effect to the coating, creating a soft glow in the light similar to the effect of a light rub-in powder.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, thanks to which the material does not spread and allows you to calmly work with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and every stage of structuring can be controlled.
• Has high strength after polymerization and retains the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during structuring it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate flexibility at 1 mm thickness, due to which it remains maximally stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and structuring.
• Mandatorily requires an underlayer of Rubber Base.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Permissible coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Complete polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. We do not file down the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length, which we will remove after leveling.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two approaches. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First approach: wipe the nail surface. Second approach: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the sinuses.
7. Use primer if desired, but if the base for the underlayer has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the underlayer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing in. Paint all nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the stickiness.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, leaving a 0.5-1 mm gap from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and movable part of the nail plate, excess material may cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after we have evened it out. This is necessary so that a thickness forms at the edge of the nail that will support the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it can curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no lifting of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply color gel.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220-grit file, file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash your hands with soap after handling them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap the wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon overlay with a flat gel brush. Movements should be pressing/scrubbing. Paint all the sidewalls of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Install the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Build the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the sticky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used once more with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform sculpting with gel, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Leave a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and pinch the arch at approximately the 20th second of polymerization, since the gel contains glitter. After pinching, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying color gel.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.
