Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — a modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material is pliable and follows the brush while maintaining its shape and not spreading during application. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is easy to apply into top forms: it stays in place and provides enough time for precise modeling without haste. The dense, controlled consistency allows working on multiple forms at once without worrying that the material will run or lose the desired architecture. The coating gains a special effect from delicate glitter, which creates a soft glow in the light, resembling the effect of a light rub-in.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, due to which the material does not spread and allows you to work calmly with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and every stage of modeling can be controlled.
• Has high strength after polymerization and retains the built nail architecture well.
• Due to its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate cushioning at a thickness of 1 mm, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and holds a beautiful arch.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modeling.
• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.
• Power of UV/LED lamp 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash your hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use primer optionally, but if the base for underlay has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlay with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Draw all the sidewalls of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the inhibition layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm indentation from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate, excess material may cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is needed so that a thickness forms at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tacky layer and apply the color coat.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, or the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220-grit file, file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orangewood stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the base layer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing motions. Paint all the nail sidewalls and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Place the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Use clear gel to lay the shape of the artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the tacky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used once more with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform sculpting with gel, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Make a small indent from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and pinch the arch approximately at the 20th second of polymerization, since the gel contains glitter. After pinching, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tacky layer before applying the color coat.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, or the shine may be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, store for no more than 18 months.
