Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material is plastic and stretches behind the brush, while holding its shape well and not spreading during application. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient for laying in upside-down forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modeling without rushing. The dense, controlled consistency allows working with multiple forms at once without worrying that the material will run or lose the required architecture. A special effect to the coating is added by delicate glitter, which creates a soft glow in the light, reminiscent of a light rubbing effect.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, due to which the material does not spread and allows you to calmly work with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely placed with a brush and control each modeling stage.
• Has high strength after polymerization and preserves the constructed nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate cushioning at 1 mm thickness, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and holds a good arch.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modeling.
• Mandatorily requires a Rubber Base underlay.
• UV/Led lamp power 36-48W.
• Permissible coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge/1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, lightly file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use primer optionally, but if the base for the underlay has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlay with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with the gel, leaving a 0.5-1 mm indent from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate excess material can cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail edge that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so we must file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no material lift. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tacky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220-grit file, lightly file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon overlay with a flat gel brush. Use pressing movements. Outline all nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Set the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Apply the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the tacky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform gel shaping, controlling the material thickness and not overloading the cuticle area. Leave a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and press the arch around the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After pressing, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tacky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.
