Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material plastically stretches with the brush, while holding its given shape well and does not spread during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to lay into upper forms: it stays in place and provides enough time for precise modeling without haste. The dense controlled consistency allows working with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will seep or lose the required architecture. Delicate glitter adds a special effect to the coating, creating a soft glow in the light, similar to the effect of a light rubbing powder.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, due to which the material does not spread and allows working calmly with the form.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and control every stage of modeling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and preserves the built nail architecture well.
• By its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle zone.
• Has moderate amortization at a thickness of 1 mm, thanks to this it remains maximally stable and maintains a good arch.
• Suitable for nail extensions and sculpting.
• Must be applied over a Rubber Base layer.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness: 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on the nail from above, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Perform two rounds. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First round: wipe the nail surface. Second round: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle zone and sidewalls.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base coat has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon layer with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sidewalls and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle zone: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate, excess material may cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is needed so that a thickness forms at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will start to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply Gel Polish.
14. Apply Top Gel. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after handling them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use Primer LUNAmoon.
8. It is best to apply a layer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sidewalls and cure in lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Attach the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Apply clear gel to form the artificial nail shape. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off stickiness and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform gel sculpting, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Make a small indentation from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and clamp the C-curve approximately at the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After clamping, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying Gel Polish.
18. Apply Top Gel. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

COMPOSITION: Acrylates Copolymer, IBOA, Silica, TMO, Mica. 
May contain: CI 77499, CI 77891, CI 14700, CI 47000, CI 42090.

Expiry date of the product: 24 months. After opening, keep for no more than 18 months.
