Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush, yet holds the given shape well and does not run during work. Due to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to lay into top forms: it stays in place and provides enough time for precise modeling without rushing. The dense controlled consistency allows working with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will run or lose the required architecture. A special effect is added to the coating by delicate glitter, which creates a soft glow in the light, similar to the effect of a light rubbing.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, due to which the material does not run and allows you to calmly work with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely laid out with a brush and control every stage of modeling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and retains the constructed nail architecture well.
• By its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate shock absorption at 1 mm thickness, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modeling.
• Mandatorily requires a Rubber Base underlayer.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge/1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm length, which we will remove after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Do a manicure.
5. If you work with removers, after working with them, wash your hands with soap.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sinuses.
7. Use primer optionally, but if the base for the underlayer has sufficient acidity, then it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlayer with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, making a 0.5–1 mm indent from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate, excess material can cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after we have leveled it. This is necessary so that a thickness forms on the edge of the nail that will support the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so we must file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no lifting of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to detach from the hard material from the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tacky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC NAIL EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file the top of the nail without applying strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform manicure.
5. If using removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon Primer.
8. It is best to apply the base layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. Movements should be pressing. Paint all the sidewalls of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Apply the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
11. Apply clear gel to shape the artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off tackiness and excess dust.
14. Go over again with LUNAmoon Rubber Base on the areas where the file was used. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform modeling with gel, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Make a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and pinch the arch around the 20th second of polymerization, since the gel contains glitter. After pinching, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tacky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as the shine may be lost.

Expiration date of the product: 24 months. After opening, store no longer than 18 months.
