Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modelling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material plastically stretches behind the brush, while holding the given shape well and does not run during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to lay out in top forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modelling without rushing. The dense controlled consistency allows you to work with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will flow or lose the required architecture. A special effect to the coating is added by delicate sparkles that create a soft glow in the light, similar to the effect of light rubbing.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, due to which the material does not spread and allows you to work calmly with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely laid out with a brush and control each stage of modelling.
• Has high strength after polymerisation and preserves the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modelling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate amortisation at 1 mm thickness, due to which it remains maximally stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modelling.
• Requires a base coat of Rubber Base.
• Power of UV/Led lamp 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge/1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerisation 120 seconds.

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT

1. Removal.
2. We do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which we will remove after levelling.
3. Using a 220 grit file, we file without strong pressure on the nail from above, raising the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. We do a manicure.
5. If working with removers, after working with them we wash hands with soap.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two approaches. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First approach: wipe the nail surface. Second approach: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the sinuses.
7. We use primer optionally, but if the base coat has sufficient acidity, then it is not needed.
8. Best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon undercoat with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sinuses and cure in lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, making a 0.5–1 mm indent from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate, excess material can cause lifting. Cure in lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create a thickness at the edge of the nail that will support the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no lifting of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply the color coat.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file without heavy pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon base with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing motions. Paint all the nail sidewalls and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Place the extension form for the free edge.
11. Lay down the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the sticky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform the gel sculpting, controlling the material thickness and not overloading the cuticle area. Make a small indent from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and pinch the arch around the 20th second of polymerization, since the gel contains glitter. After pinching, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying the color coat.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, keep for no more than 18 months.
