Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modelling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush, while holding its given shape well and does not spread during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to lay into forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modelling without rush. The dense controlled consistency allows working with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will run or lose the required architecture. The coating gains a special effect from delicate glitter, which creates a soft glow in the light, similar to a light rubbing effect.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, thanks to which the material does not spread and allows you to work calmly with the shape.
• Practically self-levels, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and control each stage of modelling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and well preserves the built nail architecture.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modelling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate amortization in 1 mm thickness, thanks to this it remains maximally stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modelling.
• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.
• UV/Led lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowed coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm length, which we will remove after leveling.
3. File with 220 grit without strong pressure on top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after handling them.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use Primer optionally, but if the base for the underlay has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply a Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlay with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Draw all the nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Remove the sticky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, making a 0.5–1 mm indent from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate excess material may cause peeling. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after we have leveled it. This is necessary so that a thickness is created at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no lifting of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to detach from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tacky layer and apply Gel Polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the length of the nail to 1 mm and make a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the surface of the nail. Second pass: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the sinuses.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the base layer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing motion. Paint all the sinuses of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Install the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
11. Lay out the shape of the artificial nail with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the tacky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used once more with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform modeling with gel, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Make a small indentation from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and press the arch approximately at the 20th second of polymerization, since the gel contains glitter. After pressing, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tacky layer before applying Gel Polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. After opening, store for no more than 18 months.
