Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush, while holding the given shape well and does not spread during work. Due to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient for laying into upper forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modeling without haste. The dense controlled consistency allows you to work with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will run or lose the required architecture. A special effect to the coating is added by delicate glitter, which creates a soft glow in the light, similar to the effect of a light rubbing.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, thanks to which the material does not spread and allows you to calmly work with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and control each stage of modeling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and preserves the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate cushioning at a thickness of 1 mm, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modeling.
• Requires a Rubber Base coat.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Permissible coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. We do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which we will remove after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, we file without strong pressure on the nail from above, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Do a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the sinuses.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base coat has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. The Rubber Base LUNAmoon coat is best applied with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the stickiness.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, leaving an indent of 0.5-1 mm from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate, excess material can cause peeling. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no lifting of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tackiness and apply Gel Polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything as it may lose its shine.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, lightly file the nail from above without applying heavy pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Perform two rounds. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First round: wipe the nail surface. Second round: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply a layer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing motions. Draw in all the sidewalls of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tackiness.
10. Place a nail form for extending the free edge.
11. Apply a clear gel to shape the artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and shape the nail as desired.
13. Wipe off tackiness and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used once more with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform gel shaping, controlling the material thickness and without overloading the cuticle area. Make a small offset from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and clamp the arch approximately at the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After clamping, complete curing the material in the lamp.
16. Complete curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off tackiness before applying Gel Polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything as it may lose its shine.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Store open for no more than 18 months.
