Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush, while holding the given shape well and does not spread during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to lay out into top forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modeling without rushing. The dense controlled consistency allows working with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will flow or lose the required architecture. A special effect to the coating is added by delicate glitter, which creates a soft glow in the light, similar to the effect of a light rubbing.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, due to which the material does not spread and allows you to work calmly with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely laid out with a brush and control each stage of modeling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and preserves the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate damping at a thickness of 1 mm, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modeling.
• Mandatorily requires a Rubber Base underlayer.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Permissible coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. We do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm length, which we will remove after leveling.
3. Using a 220 grit file, we file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or we use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Do a manicure.
5. If working with removers, after working with them, wash hands with soap.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the surface of the nail. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the sinuses.
7. Primer is used optionally, but if the base for the underlayer has sufficient acidity, then it is not needed.
8. The underlayer with Rubber Base LUNAmoon is best applied with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing. Draw all the sinuses of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tackiness.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, making a 0.5-1 mm indentation from the cuticle. In the cuticle area, do not create excessive thickness: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and moving part of the nail plate, excess material can cause peeling. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is needed so that a thickness forms at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so we must file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no peeling of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and cover with gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after handling them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply a base layer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. Movements should be pressing in. Paint all the sidewalls of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Attach the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Apply clear gel to shape the artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the sticky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used once more with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform the modeling with gel, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Leave a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and clamp the arch approximately at the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After clamping, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.
