Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in a collaboration between Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material plastically stretches behind the brush, while holding its shape well and not spreading during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient for laying into top forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modeling without haste. The dense controlled consistency allows you to work with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will run or lose the desired architecture. Delicate glitter adds a special effect to the coating, creating on light a soft glow, similar to the effect of a light rubbing.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, thanks to which the material does not spread and allows you to work calmly with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely placed with a brush and control each stage of modeling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and maintains the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to a hard gel, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate amortization at a thickness of 1 mm, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modeling.
• Definitely requires a base layer of Rubber Base.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Permissible coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length, which we will remove after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Do the manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the surface of the nail. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the sinuses.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base for the underlay has sufficient acidity, then it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the underlay of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing. Paint all the sinuses of the nail and dry in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tackiness.
10. Level the nail plate with the gel, leaving a 0.5-1 mm gap from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard gel, so on the soft and movable part of the nail plate, excess material can cause peeling. Dry in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail edge that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tackiness and apply Gel Polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC NAIL EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash your hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon layer with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing motions. Paint all nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tackiness.
10. Place the extension form for the free edge.
11. Apply clear gel to shape the artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the tackiness and excess dust.
14. Go over the filed areas again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform the gel sculpting, controlling the material thickness and not overloading the cuticle area. Leave a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and clamp the arch around the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After clamping, fully cure the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tackiness before applying Gel Polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

COMPOSITION: Acrylates Copolymer, IBOA, Silica, TMO, Mica. 
May contain: CI 77499, CI 77891, CI 14700, CI 47000, CI 42090.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, store for no more than 18 months.
