Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modeling gel with a dense creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush while holding its shape well and not spreading during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is easy to place in forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modeling without rush. The dense controlled consistency allows working with multiple forms at once without worrying about the material leaking or losing the required architecture. Delicate glitter adds a special effect to the coating, creating a soft radiance similar to a light rubbing effect.

Characteristics:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, so the material does not spread and allows working calmly with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely placed with a brush, controlling every stage of modeling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and preserves the built nail architecture well.
• By its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the coating thickness, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate flexibility in a thickness of 1 mm, staying maximally stable and maintaining a good arch.
• Suitable for nail extension and modeling.
• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Permissible coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, lightly file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform manicure.
5. If using removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use primer optionally, but if the base underlay has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. Apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlay best with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sidewalls and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. In the cuticle area, do not create excessive thickness: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and flexible part of the nail plate, excess material may cause detachment. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after we have leveled it. This is necessary to create thickness at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no lifting of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material from the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tackiness and apply Gel Polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and make a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Do a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the sinuses.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon overlay with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing motions. Paint all the nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tackiness.
10. Install the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Lay the shape of the artificial nail with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off tackiness and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform gel sculpting, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Make a small indent from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and pinch the arch approximately at the 20th second of polymerization, since the gel contains glitter. After pinching, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tackiness before applying Gel Polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as the shine may be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, store for no more than 18 months.
