Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush, while holding its shape well and not spreading during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is easy to lay out into top forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modeling without rushing. The dense controlled consistency allows working with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will run or lose the desired architecture. Delicate glitter adds a special effect to the coating, creating a soft glow in the light, similar to the effect of light rubbing.

Features:

• It has a very thick and viscous consistency, thanks to which the material does not spread and allows you to work calmly with the shape.
• It practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and control each stage of modeling.
• It has high strength after polymerization and preserves the built nail architecture well.
• In terms of its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• It has moderate shock absorption at a thickness of 1 mm, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and maintains a good arch.
• Suitable for nail extension and modeling.
• It necessarily requires a Rubber Base underlayer.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Permissible coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on top of the nail, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Do the manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sinuses.
7. Use primer at will, but if the base coat has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlayer with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the stickiness.
10. Level the nail plate with the gel, leaving a 0.5-1 mm gap from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and movable part of the nail plate, excess material can cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after we have leveled it. This is needed so that a thickness forms on the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so we must file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will start to detach from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, we wipe off the tackiness and cover with Gel Polish.
14. We apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and make a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file with gentle pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the flakes of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after handling them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and the sinuses.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. The best way to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon is with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing motions. Paint all the nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tackiness.
10. Place the form for the free edge extension.
11. Apply the shape of the artificial nail with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off tackiness and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where we used the file one more time with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform modeling with gel, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Leave a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and pinch the arch around the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After pinching, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tackiness before covering with Gel Polish.
18. We apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

Expiry date of the product: 24 months. Once opened, store for no more than 18 months.
