Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — a modelling gel with a thick cream texture, created in collaboration Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush while holding its shape well and not spreading during work. Due to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to lay into top forms: it stays in place and provides enough time for precise modelling without rush. The dense controlled consistency allows working with several forms at once without worrying that the material will overflow or lose the required architecture. Delicate sparkles add a special effect to the coating, creating a soft glow in the light similar to a light rubbing effect.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, thanks to which the material does not spread and allows you to work calmly with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and every stage of modelling controlled.
• Has high strength after polymerisation and preserves the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties the material is close to hard, so during modelling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate flexibility at 1 mm thickness, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and holds a good arch.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modelling.
• Mandatorily requires a Rubber Base underlay.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness 0.5 mm at free edge / 1 mm at apex.
• Full polymerisation 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. We do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm length, which we will take after levelling.
3. With a 220 grit file we file without strong pressure on the nail from above, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. We do a manicure.
5. If working with removers, after working with them wash hands with soap.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base for the underlay has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlay with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Draw all the nail sidewalls and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with the gel, leaving a 0.5-1 mm gap from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate excess material may cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail edge that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. This will prevent material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tacky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, gently file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon Primer.
8. It is best to apply the underlayer with Rubber Base LUNAmoon using a flat gel brush. Movements should be pressing in. Paint all the nail sidewalls and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Attach the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Apply clear gel to form the artificial nail shape. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the tacky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the filed areas once more with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform sculpting with gel, controlling the material thickness and not overloading the cuticle zone. Leave a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and squeeze the arch around the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After squeezing, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tacky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. After opening, store for no more than 18 months.
