Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush, while holding its given shape well and does not spread during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is easy to lay out in upper forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modeling without haste. The dense controlled consistency allows you to work with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will flow or lose the desired architecture. Delicate sparkles add a special effect to the coating, creating a soft glow in the light, similar to the effect of a light rubbing.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, due to which the material does not spread and allows you to calmly work with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and control every stage of modeling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and maintains the built architecture of the nail well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate amortization at a thickness of 1 mm, due to this it remains maximally stable and holds the arch nicely.
• Suitable for nail extension and modeling.
• Must be applied over a Rubber Base.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. Use a 220 grit file to gently file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Do a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash your hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail using LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap the wipe around it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base coat has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sidewalls and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and flexible part of the nail plate, excess material may cause chipping. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. File the shape after leveling. This is necessary so that a thickness forms on the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material from the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tackiness and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and make a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after handling them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the base from Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. Movements should be pressing/pushing in. Paint all sidewalls of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tackiness.
10. Place the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Build the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the tackiness and excess dust.
14. Go over again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon on the areas where the file was used. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform sculpting with gel, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Make a small indentation from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and pinch the arch around the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After pinching, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tackiness before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

COMPOSITION: Acrylates Copolymer, IBOA, Silica, TMO, Mica. 
May contain: CI 77499, CI 77891, CI 14700, CI 47000, CI 42090.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, store for no more than 18 months.
