Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material plastically stretches behind the brush, while maintaining its given shape and does not spread during work. Due to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient for laying into top forms: it stays in place and provides enough time for precise modeling without haste. The dense controlled consistency allows working with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will run or lose the required architecture. A special effect to the coating is added by delicate glitter, which in the light creates a soft glow, similar to the effect of a light rub-in.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, thanks to which the material does not spread and allows you to work calmly with the shape.
• Practically self-leveling, so the gel can be accurately laid with a brush and control each stage of modeling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and well preserves the built architecture of the nail.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate cushioning in a thickness of 1 mm, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for extensions and modeling of nails.
• Definitely requires a base coat of Rubber Base.
• UV/Led lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. We do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which we will remove after leveling.
3. Use a 220 grit file to lightly file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Do the manicure.
5. If working with removers, after working with them, wash hands with soap.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the surface of the nail. Second pass: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the sinuses.
7. Use primer optionally, but if the base coat has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply a base coat of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Draw all the sinuses of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, keeping a 0.5-1 mm gap from the cuticle. In the cuticle area, do not create excessive thickness: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate, excess material may cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail edge that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the inhibition layer and apply color.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail using LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base layer with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing motions. Paint all nail sidewalls and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the inhibition layer.
10. Place the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Apply clear gel to shape the artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the inhibition layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the filed areas again with LUNAmoon Rubber Base. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform gel sculpting, controlling the thickness of the material and without overloading the cuticle area. Leave a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and squeeze the arch at about the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After squeezing, fully cure the material in the lamp.
16. Fully cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the inhibition layer before applying color.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. After opening, store no longer than 18 months.
