Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush, while holding its shape well and not spreading during work. Due to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient for application in top forms: it stays in place and provides enough time for precise modeling without haste. The dense controlled consistency allows working with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will run or lose the desired architecture. Delicate sparkles add a special effect to the coating, creating a soft glow in the light, reminiscent of a light rub-in effect.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, which prevents the material from spreading and allows working calmly with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and each modeling step can be controlled.
• Has high strength after polymerization and maintains the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate shock absorption at 1 mm thickness, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modeling.
• Mandatorily requires a Rubber Base underlay.
• UV/Led lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which we will remove after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on the nail from above, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two approaches. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First approach: wipe the nail surface. Second approach: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sinuses.
7. Primer is used as desired, but if the base for the underlay has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the underlay from Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat brush for gel. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all the sinuses of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with the gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate, excess material may cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. After leveling, we file the shape. This is necessary to create thickness at the edge of the nail that will support the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. This will prevent material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will start to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply color.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as it may lose its shine.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. With a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after using them.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and the sinuses.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply a base coat with Rubber Base LUNAmoon using a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing motions. Draw out all the sinuses of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Set the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Place transparent gel to shape the artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off stickiness and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform shaping with gel, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Make a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and clamp the arch approximately at the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After clamping, fully cure the material in the lamp.
16. Fully cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying color.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as it may lose its shine.

May contain: CI 77499, CI 77891, CI 14700, CI 47000, CI 42090.

Product shelf life: 24 months. After opening, store for no more than 18 months.
