Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — a modeling gel with a thick cream texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material is malleable and stretches with the brush, while maintaining its given shape and not running during work. Thanks to its minimal thixotropy, the gel is easy to apply in top forms: it stays in place and provides enough time for precise modeling without rushing. The dense, controllable consistency allows you to work with several forms at once without worrying that the material will seep or lose its intended architecture. The coating is enhanced by delicate glitters that create a soft radiance in the light, reminiscent of a light rubbing effect.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, so the material does not run and allows you to work comfortably with the shape.
• It practically does not self-level, so the gel can be accurately applied with a brush and every modeling step can be controlled.
• Has high strength after polymerization and preserves the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate flexibility at a thickness of 1 mm, thereby remaining extremely stable and maintaining a good arch.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modeling.
• Mandatory backing with Rubber Base is required.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness: 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization: 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after use.
6. Degrease the nail using LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base coat has sufficient acidity, it is not required.
8. Apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon backing best with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all the nail grooves and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Remove the sticky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and flexible part of the nail plate excess material may cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. Filing the shape after leveling. This is needed to create thickness on the free edge that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no lifting of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to detach from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and make a round shape.
3. Using a 220-grit file, file without heavy pressure on the nail from the top, lifting the flakes of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash your hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use Primer LUNAmoon.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon overlay with a flat gel brush. The movements should be pressing. Draw all the sidewalls of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Place the extension form for the free edge of the nail.
11. Apply the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the sticky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform gel sculpting, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Make a small offset from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and clamp the arch approximately at the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After clamping, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as the shine may be lost.

Shelf life of product: 24 months. Once opened, store for no more than 18 months.
