Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — sculpting gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material plastically stretches with the brush while holding its shape well and not spreading during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to lay into dual forms: it stays in place and provides enough time for precise sculpting without haste. The dense controlled consistency allows working with multiple forms at once, without worrying about the material running or losing the desired architecture. The coating is enhanced by delicate glitter that creates a soft glow in the light, similar to a light rubbing effect.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, due to which the material does not spread and allows you to work calmly with the shape.
• Practically self-leveling, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and control each stage of sculpting.
• Has high strength after polymerization and retains the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during sculpting it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate cushioning at a thickness of 1 mm, thanks to which it remains extremely stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and sculpting.
• Requires a Rubber Base liner.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Permissible coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, dust the nail from above without strong pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after handling them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use primer optionally, but if the base coat has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. Apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon liner best with a flat gel brush. Movements should be pressing-in. Trace all sidewalls of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the dispersion layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and flexible part of the nail plate, excess material may cause detachment. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is necessary so that a thickness forms at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so we must file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply Gel Polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. With a 220-grit file, file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after handling them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and side walls.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the base layer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing motions. Paint all the side walls of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Attach the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
11. Lay the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the sticky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used once more with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform gel sculpting, controlling the material thickness and not overloading the cuticle area. Leave a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and pinch the arch at approximately the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After pinching, fully cure the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying Gel Polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as shine may be lost.

Expiry date of the product: 24 months. Once opened, store for no more than 18 months.
