Mousse gel — modeling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically with the brush while maintaining its shape well and does not spread during work. Thanks to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to apply in dual forms: it stays in place and allows sufficient time for precise modeling without rushing. The dense, controlled consistency enables working with several forms at once without worrying that the material will run or lose the required architecture. A special effect is added to the coating by delicate glitter that creates a soft glow in the light, similar to a light rubbing effect.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, due to which the material does not spread and allows you to calmly work with the shape.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely applied with a brush and control each stage of modeling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and retains the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modeling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate dampening at a thickness of 1 mm, thanks to which it remains maximally stable and maintains a good arch.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modeling.
• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Permissible coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. With a 180-220 grit file, file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the nail plate flakes, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer is optional, but if the underlay base has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlay with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all the nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Level the nail plate with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. In the cuticle area, do not create excessive thickness: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and mobile part of the nail plate, excess material may cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. Lime the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail edge that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl; therefore, be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In such a case, there will be no material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash your hands with soap after handling them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Apply LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlayer with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing motions. Draw all sidewalls of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Place the form for extension of the free edge of the nail.
11. Build the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the sticky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used once more with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform sculpting with gel, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Leave a small gap from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and press the arch approximately at the 20th second of polymerization, as the gel contains glitter. After pressing, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. After opening, store no longer than 18 months.
