Mousse gel 01-06

Mousse gel — modelling gel with a thick creamy texture, created in collaboration with Lora Sheiderova × LUNAmoon. The material stretches plastically behind the brush, while holding the set shape well and does not spread during work. Due to minimal thixotropy, the gel is convenient to lay into upper forms: it stays in place and gives enough time for precise modelling without haste. The dense controlled consistency allows working with several forms at once, without worrying that the material will run or lose the required architecture. A special effect is added to the coating by delicate sparkles that create a soft glow in the light, similar to the effect of a light rubbing powder.

Features:

• Has a very thick and viscous consistency, due to which the material does not spread and allows you to work calmly with the form.
• Practically does not self-level, so the gel can be precisely placed with a brush and control each stage of modelling.
• Has high strength after polymerization and preserves the built nail architecture well.
• In its properties, the material is close to hard, so during modelling it is important to control the thickness of the coating, especially in the cuticle area.
• Has moderate amortization at 1 mm thickness, due to which it remains maximally stable and holds the arch well.
• Suitable for nail extensions and modelling.
• Must have a Rubber Base underlayer.
• UV/Led lamp power 36-48W.
• Permissible coating thickness 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which we will remove after leveling.
3. Use a 220 grit file to gently file the nail surface without strong pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base underlayer has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlayer with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing. Outline all nail sidewalls and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the inhibition layer.
10. Level the nail plate with the gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Do not create excessive thickness in the cuticle area: the material is close to hard, so on the soft and movable part of the nail plate, excess material may cause lifting. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. We file the shape after leveling. This is necessary so that a thickness forms at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no peeling of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply Gel Polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and make a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit file, file without strong pressure on the top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Do the manicure.
5. If working with removers, after working with them, wash your hands with soap.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two approaches. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First approach: wipe the nail surface. Second approach: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and the sinuses.
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlay with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Draw all the sinuses of the nail and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Install the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
11. Lay out the shape of the artificial nail with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the sticky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon on the areas where the file was used. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Perform gel modeling, controlling the thickness of the material and not overloading the cuticle area. Make a small indent from the cuticle. Place in the lamp and clamp the arch approximately on the 20th second of polymerization, since the gel contains glitter. After clamping, finish curing the material in the lamp.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying Gel Polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

COMPOSITION: Acrylates Copolymer, IBOA, Silica, TMO, Mica. 
May contain: CI 77499, CI 77891, CI 14700, CI 47000, CI 42090.

Shelf life: 24 months. After opening, store for no more than 18 months.
