You Are Cute. Juicy Gel #3, 15 ml, builder gel
Description
Juicy Gel – is a polymer light-curing material that, due to its strength, allows for significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process when the material is exposed to ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength.
Features:
- Acid-free.
- Has shock absorption, does not crack upon impact.
- Has a medium consistency.
- Has medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.
- Suitable for the 'no-filing extension' technique.
- Suitable for extension 'on top forms'.
- Does not cause a burning sensation in the lamp.
- Becomes thicker in cold, and thinner in warmth.
- Thixotropic - becomes thinner if you move the brush while working.
- It can be additionally heated to make the gel thinner.
- Hard at a thickness of 1 mm. If the thickness is less than 1 mm, it may bend slightly, but this does not affect wear.
- Does not shrink and holds the arch well.
- Requires a Rubber Base underlayer.
- Wavelength for polymerization: 365-405 nm.
- UV/LED lamp power: 36-48W.
- Allowable coating thickness: 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
- Full polymerization: 120 seconds.
Application method:
STRENGTHENING
- Removal.
- Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which we will remove after leveling.
- Using a 220-grit file, lightly file the nail from above without strong pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buffer.
- Perform a manicure.
- If working with removers, wash hands with soap afterward.
- Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and nail folds.
- Use primer as desired, but if the base for the underlayer has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
- It is best to apply the Rubber Base underlayer with a flat gel brush. Apply the base in an even layer. Paint all nail folds and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
- We recommend not removing the tackiness from the base, as it helps chemically bond with the subsequent layers of coating (gel, color, base). Removing the tacky layer weakens chemical adhesion and risks lifting.
- Leveling. If leveling with gel, leave a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
- File the shape after leveling. This is needed to create thickness at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
- If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. This will prevent material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will start to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
- After filing, wipe off the tackiness and apply gel polish.
- Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything to avoid losing the shine.
CLASSIC EXTENSION
- Removal
- Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and make a round shape.
- Use primer.
- Place the form for extending the free edge.
- Shape the artificial nail with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
- File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
- Wipe off the tackiness and excess dust.
- Go over again with Rubber Base on areas where a file was used. Cure for 30 seconds.
- Level with gel, place in the lamp and pinch at the 10-15th second. If the gel has strong tackiness or contains glitter, pinch at the 20th second.
- Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
- Wipe off the tackiness before applying gel polish.
- Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything to avoid losing the shine.
