What is the difference between white replacement files and black ones:

1. The abrasive of white files consists of aluminum oxide, which makes them more flexible, softer, and wear-resistant. Black files consist of silicon carbide, which makes them harder, but they are highly brittle.
2. White files have fine abrasive grain of a rounded shape, which allows you not to injure the nail plate. Black files have an abrasive of a sharp shape that self-sharpens during filing.
