LUNAmoon. Shimmer Gel, Unicorn #04, 15 ml, modeling gel with shimmer

Classic extension gel with glitter Shimmer Gel – a polymer light-curing material that, due to its strength, allows significant lengthening of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that start the polymerization process when the material is exposed to ultraviolet light of a certain wavelength.

Features:

• Hard at 1 mm thickness. If thickness is less than 1 mm, it may flex slightly, but this does not affect wear.
• No shrinkage and holds the arch well.
• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.
• Wavelength for polymerization 365-405 nm.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness 0.5 mm at the end/1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm length to be removed after leveling.
3. File with a 220 grit file without strong pressure on the nail from above, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base for the underlay has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlay with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Level with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. File the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail edge that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. This will prevent material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will start to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as shine may be lost.
    

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and make a round shape.
3. File with a 220 grit file without strong pressure on the nail from above, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.

7. Use LUNAmoon primer.

9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Set the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
11. Apply clear gel to form the artificial nail shape. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the sticky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Level with gel, place in the lamp and clamp at the 10-15th second. If the gel has strong stickiness or contains glitter, clamp at the 20th second.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as shine may be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Store open for no more than 18 months.
