Builder Gel – is a polymer light-curing material that, due to its strength, allows significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that start the polymerization process when the material is exposed to ultraviolet light of a certain wavelength.

Features:

• It is acid-free.
• Has shock absorption, won't crack upon impact.
• Has a medium consistency.
• Has medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.
• Suitable for the "no-file extension" technique.
• Suitable for extension on "upper forms".
• Does not cause burning in the lamp.
• Becomes thicker in the cold and thinner in warmth.
• Thixotropic — becomes thinner if you move the brush while working.
• It can be additionally warmed up to make the gel thinner.
• Hard at 1 mm thickness. If the thickness is less than 1 mm, it may bend slightly, but this does not affect wear.
• Does not shrink and holds the arch well.
• Absolutely requires a base layer of Rubber Base.
• Polymerization wavelength 365-405 nm.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. We do not file the nail shape or we leave 2 mm of length, which we will remove after levelling.
3. With a 220-grit nail file, file lightly on top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, after using them, wash hands with soap.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Do two approaches. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First approach: wipe the nail surface. Second approach: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Use primer optionally, but if the base for the undercoat has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. Apply the base layer of Rubber Base best with a flat brush for gel. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all the nail sidewalls and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Level. If levelling with gel, leave a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. File the shape after levelling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail edge that will support the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file out 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will start separating from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tacky layer and cover with gel polish.
14. Apply top. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and shape it round.
3. With a 220-grit nail file, file lightly on top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.

11. Build the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and shape the nail as desired.
13. Wipe off the tacky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over again with Rubber Base on the areas where the nail file was used. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Level with gel, place in the lamp, and pinch at the 10th–15th second. If the gel has strong tackiness or contains glitter, pinch at the 20th second.
16. Cure completely in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tacky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.
