You can create a special, unique, and bright manicure using IBDI sliders. Easy and convenient application and long wearing time are some of their main advantages.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Prepare your nails for slider design application: do a manicure and apply builder gel/gel polish.
- Apply a background color — a light shade or camouflage.
- On the dried color layers, apply a top coat for better adhesion of the slider design to the nail. Cure the top coat under a UV lamp for 1 minute, or under an LED lamp for 30 seconds. The slider design must be applied to the tacky layer!
- Select a slider design, trim and prepare it according to the nail size.
- Place the slider design on a cotton pad moistened with warm water (40-50 degrees Celsius!), paper base down (approx. 15-30 sec), transfer the image onto the nail up to the cuticle base. You can use hotter water, as the film will be more elastic and easier to remove!
- Smooth out the slider design, pressing out any remaining water and air with a soft wipe. Air-dry or cure in a lamp. File the free edges well and wipe with a lint-free wipe moistened with sticky layer remover.
- Apply a top coat (1-2 layers), curing each layer and capping the tips well.
