Synthetic gloves made of nitrile provide significantly better protection against aggressive chemicals compared with natural latex. Nitrile resistance to punctures and tensile strength are also significantly higher than those of latex and other films used for glove manufacturing – nitrile has good elasticity, its tensile limit exceeds 500%, and it has mechanical memory, which reduces fatigue during prolonged use.

Glove density - like the material, the main characteristic of gloves; the denser the gloves, the greater the mechanical load they can withstand and the longer they will last. Due to the different thickness of the material on the fingers/palm/cuff, glove density is commonly calculated as the weight of 1 glove in size M.

For example, 1 pack (100 pieces) of gloves weighs 450 grams, the weight of the cardboard packaging (box) is approximately 50 grams, therefore the net weight of 100 gloves is about 400 grams - the weight/density of the glove is 4 grams. Since a size S glove is smaller than a size M glove, at the same glove density (for example 4 grams), less material is needed for this glove and the weight of a size S glove with a density of 4 grams will be about 3.8 grams. With a size L glove, the situation is the opposite: the glove is larger, so more material is needed to make it, and the weight of an equivalent-density glove in size L will be approximately 4.2 grams.
