STALEKS PRO rounded cylinder bit, blue, 2.5 mm — a medium abrasive attachment with diamond coating for delicate skin treatment. This shape processes side walls, calluses, cracks, removes gel and acrylic buildup, and sands nail plates before applying artificial material. It is advisable to avoid treating natural nails with medium hardness abrasive.
The bit is made by spraying diamond grit onto a medical-grade stainless steel blank. Medium fraction grains are applied: evenly, densely covering the entire working area, without gaps or clumping in one place. The grit is fixed through a galvanic process: a thin layer of nickel holds the diamond grains, making the bond strong and durable.
This coating technology gives the working area hardness, wear resistance, and eliminates surface irregularities. Thanks to the high quality of the grit, the attachment will last longer, and its center of rotation will not shift when working at high speeds of the drill.
The nail sanding bit delicately treats side walls, quickly sands nail plates, removing irregularities, and eliminates material buildup. It is important to treat the area smoothly, without pressure, avoiding sudden movements and prolonged exposure to one spot.
When performing a pedicure, bits for heel cracks with a blue notch gently and quickly treat cracks, dry calluses, corns, and remove skin thickening without the risk of injuring the client.
Maximum permissible rotation speed up to 30,000 rpm. It is important to adhere to the recommended number of revolutions for each type of attachment and procedure to avoid overheating and client injury.
Optimal speed for manicure procedures:
- Natural nails, skin, thousand rpm: 5-10 — filing, thickness reduction, sanding, polishing; 10-15 — cuticle removal, side wall sanding, pocket cleaning.
- Artificial nails, thousand rpm: 15-20 — thickness removal, shaping; 20-25 — coating removal, design; 25-30 — free edge shaping; more than 30 — specific design types, other work.
- Pedicure, thousand rpm: 5-15 — corn removal, skin sanding; 15-25 — crack cleaning, surface callus removal; 25-30 and more — work with core calluses, other types of work.
The bit for sanding skin around the nail with a blue notch is safe when used correctly and is corrosion-resistant. It will not be damaged during sterilization and disinfection (cold or hot), except when using disinfectant solutions based on active oxygen.

Application of the Staleks Pro EXPERT diamond rounded cylinder bit 2.5 mm blue:
- Choose the attachment according to the type of area being treated: bit for gel removal, sanding, length filing, etc. It is also important to adhere to the recommended number of revolutions to avoid overheating and client injury.
- Do not drop or hit the tool — this may cause the center of rotation to shift, leading to defects. A deformed attachment cannot be used.
- Regularly check the centering of the bit for side wall treatment visually or with a special tool.
- During work, use gloves, safety glasses, or a shield.
Cleaning diamond attachments
- Immediately after use, remove the attachment from the handpiece. Using a soft brush, carefully remove any remaining nail dust and other contaminants. Try not to scratch the surface to avoid damage.
- For light contamination, rinsing with running water using a brush is not recommended to prevent the spread of splashes with possible infectious agents.
- Disinfection: prepare a disinfectant solution, place the attachments, following the manufacturer's instructions for concentration and time. It is recommended to choose products that destroy hepatitis B, C, and dermatomycosis viruses.
- Washing: use a container with warm soapy water and a mild detergent. Soak the tools for 10-15 minutes to soften remaining contaminants. An ultrasonic bath can be used for deeper pre-sterilization cleaning.
- Sterilization. Place the tools in sterilization pouches intended for a dry heat sterilizer or autoclave containers to protect them from damage and ensure proper air or steam circulation.
- Sterilization time in a dry heat sterilizer: at 180°C for 60 minutes, at 160°C for 150 minutes. Autoclave: at 120°C, pressure 1.1 atm. for 45 minutes; 132°C, pressure 2 atm. for 20 minutes. After the process, it is recommended to leave the attachments for 1 hour to avoid sudden temperature changes.
- Regularly check the operation of the autoclave or dry heat sterilizer using biological indicators.
- Store in a dry, clean condition in a closed container. Choose a dry storage place to prevent rust and mold. Avoid moisture, dust, loose, and abrasive substances getting between working surfaces.
When to replace the tool:
Proper use, storage, and cleaning will maintain operability for up to 3-4 months.
When to replace attachments:
- The metal has corroded, the coating has become uneven with bald spots.
- The working area has lost abrasiveness, become smooth in places, and clogged with material. Chips and burrs have formed on the tips of sharp shapes.
- The material takes longer to remove than usual, and you want to press harder to get results.
- The tool vibrates during coating removal, causing a burning sensation.
- Warping. Attachments can warp as a result of drops, prolonged use, or be destroyed by aggressive disinfectants and high temperatures during sterilization. They hit the client's nail hard, overheat due to vibration, which shortens the service life of the handpiece.
