OSTRO Scraper

A scraper is a multifunctional tool used for nail plate and cuticle care.

The tool has two working surfaces: 

• a small flat rounded spatula that allows you to easily push back the cuticle on nails of any size and shape;
• a rectangular spatula that is best for scraping and cleaning pterygium from both sides of the nail.

Using the scraper includes several simple steps:

1. Preparation: If the cuticle is hard, soak your hands in warm water for a few minutes or use a special cuticle softener.
2. Cuticle lifting: Using the flat or curved side of the scraper, gently lift and separate the cuticle from the nail plate. Do this with light movements to avoid damaging the nail or skin.
3. Removal of residues: After lifting the cuticle, remove any remaining pterygium or various debris from the nail surface using the same flat side of the scraper.
4. Finishing: After completing the procedure, you can apply a moisturizing cream or cuticle oil to keep the skin soft and hydrated.
5. Disinfection: After each use, thoroughly wash the scraper with warm water and soap and disinfect it with alcohol or a special instrument solution.
