You Are Cute. Builder Gel #47, 15 ml, builder gel for extension, with shimmer

Builder Gel – a polymer light-curing material that, due to its strength, allows significant lengthening of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that start the polymerization process when the material is exposed to ultraviolet light of a certain wavelength.

Features:

• It is acid-free.
• Has cushioning, does not crack upon impacts.
• Has medium consistency.
• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.
• Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique.
• Suitable for "top forms" extension.
• Does not cause burning in the lamp.
• Becomes thicker in the cold and thinner in warmth.
• Thixotropic – becomes thinner if you move the brush during work.
• It can be additionally warmed to make the gel thinner.
• Hard at 1 mm thickness. If thickness is less than 1 mm, it may bend slightly, but this does not affect wear.
• Does not shrink and holds the arch well.
• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.
• Polymerization wavelength 365-405 nm.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method: 

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm of length which will be removed after leveling.
3. With a 220 grit file, gently file the top of the nail without heavy pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap afterwards.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and nail folds.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base for the underlay has enough acidity, it is not needed.
8. The Rubber Base underlay is best applied with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail folds and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Leveling. If leveling with gel, make a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. File the shape after leveling. This is needed to create thickness at the nail edge that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case, there will be no material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will start separating from the hard material from the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the tacky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and make a round shape.

10. Set the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
11. Lay out the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and shape the nail as desired.
13. Wipe off the tacky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over again with Rubber Base on the areas where the file was used. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Level with gel, put in the lamp and at the 10–15 second mark, pinch. If the gel has strong tackiness or contains glitter, pinch at the 20-second mark.
16. Fully cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tacky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as the shine may be lost.
