Builder Gel – a polymer light-curing material that, due to its strength, allows you to significantly extend the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that start the polymerization process when the material is exposed to ultraviolet light of a certain wavelength.

Features:

• Acid-free.
• Has shock absorption, does not crack upon impact.
• Medium consistency.
• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.
• Suitable for the “filing-free extension” technique.
• Suitable for extension “on top forms”.
• Does not cause burning in the lamp.
• Thickens in cold and thins in heat.
• Thixotropic – becomes thinner when moving the brush during work.
• Can be additionally heated to make the gel thinner.
• Hard at a thickness of 1 mm. If thickness is less than 1 mm, it may bend slightly, but this does not affect wear.
• Does not shrink and holds the arch well.
• Requires a Rubber Base layer.
• Polymerization wavelength 365-405 nm.
• UV/LED lamp power 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm length to be removed after leveling.
3. Using a 220 grit nail file, file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If using removers, wash hands with soap after.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and grooves.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base coat is sufficiently acidic, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply a Rubber Base layer with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail grooves and cure in lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Level. If leveling with gel, leave a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure in lamp for 60 seconds.
11. File the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail edge that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. This will prevent material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to maintain shine.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal.
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and make a round shape.
3. Using a 220 grit nail file, file the top of the nail without strong pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If using removers, wash hands with soap after.

11. Apply a clear gel to shape the artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off the sticky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over the areas where the file was used once more with Rubber Base. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Level with gel, place in the lamp, and pinch at 10–15 seconds. If the gel has strong stickiness or contains glitter, pinch at 20 seconds.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the sticky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to maintain shine.
