LUNAmoon. Shimmer Gel, Unicorn #02, 15 ml, modeling gel with shimmer

Classic builder gel with glitter Shimmer Gel – a polymer light-curing material that, due to its strength, allows you to significantly lengthen the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process when the material is exposed to ultraviolet light of a certain wavelength.

Features:

• Has shock absorption, does not crack upon impact.
• Has a medium-thick consistency.
• Has medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.
• Suitable for the "no-file extension" technique.
• Suitable for extension "on top forms".
• Does not cause burning in the lamp.
• Becomes thicker in cold, and thinner in warmth.
• Thixotropic — becomes thinner when moving the brush during work.
• Can be additionally warmed to make the gel thinner.
• Hard at a thickness of 1 mm. If the thickness is less than 1 mm, it may bend slightly, but this does not affect wear.
• Does not shrink and holds the arch well.
• Requires a Rubber Base underlayment.
• Polymerization wavelength: 365-405 nm.
• UV/LED lamp power: 36-48W.
• Allowable coating thickness: 0.5 mm at the end / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full polymerization: 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. File with a 220 grit file without strong pressure on top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Do a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap after.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two approaches. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First approach: wipe the nail surface. Second approach: take an orange stick, put a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sinuses.
7. Primer is optional, but if the base for underlayment has sufficient acidity, it is not needed.
8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlayment with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sinuses and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Level with the gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
11. File the shape after leveling. This is needed to create thickness at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. This will prevent material peeling. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will start to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, wipe off the sticky layer and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as shine may be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION

1. Removal
2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and make a round shape.
3. File with a 220 grit file without strong pressure on top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.

9. Wipe off the sticky layer.
10. Place a form for extending the free edge of the nail.
11. Apply clear gel to shape the artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and give the nail the desired shape.
13. Wipe off sticky layer and excess dust.
14. Go over again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon on areas where file was used. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Level with the gel, place in the lamp, and clamp at 10–15 seconds. If the gel has strong stickiness or contains glitter, clamp at 20 seconds.
16. Finish curing in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off sticky layer before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe anything, as shine may be lost.

Shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, store no longer than 18 months.
