Upper forms for nail extension Dual Nail Forms (Type 7) – cat’s claw
Dual Nail Forms cat’s claw — are reusable upper forms for nail extension in the shape of a cat's claw. Created for masters working with extreme shapes, provocative architecture, and creative nail design.
What is important to know about Cat’s Claw?
✔ Extreme archThese upper forms made of elastic and durable ABS plastic have an unnaturally high arch (~70%) and special geometry that allows you to perform extensions of long nails with curved architecture quickly and with minimal filing.
✔ Invisible cuticle transition
In the cuticle area, they have a thinning of the material, which allows minimizing the step during extension. To preserve the correct claw architecture, we recommend minimal correction of the length of the extended nails.
✔ Compatibility with different nail types
Can be used for most nail plate types. On ski-jump nails, additional architecture correction may be required.
How to use in nail art?
Suitable for manicures in gothic, dark aesthetic, naturalism, high-fashion, avant-garde styles and for conceptual accent nails: 1–2 nails with a cat shape become an expressive stylistic element in the design.

Cat’s Claw extension technology:
0. Preparation: remove previous coating, perform manicure, leave 1 mm of free edge length.1. Degreasing: mechanically (with a nail file 180/240) and chemically (using Prep&Finish and a lint-free wipe) degrease the nail plate
2. Dehydration: apply Nail Fresher to the entire nail, let it air-dry until a whitish tint appears on the nail plate surface
3. Bonding: with a semi-dry brush apply acid-free primer Ultrabond* to the entire nail, stepping back 1 mm from the cuticle and sidewalls. Let it air-dry for 15 seconds.
* when using PRO Base-Bond adhesive base, skip this step
4. Base: apply an even layer of base coat, carefully treating the sidewalls and free edge. Cure in LED lamp for 60 sec.
5. Extension:
- select an upper form for each nail so that it covers the growth points
- with a brush or stick, place the necessary amount of gel/acryl gel into the form up to the highest point of the apex, without going beyond the free edge of the natural nail
- place the upper form with the material on the nail and smoothly pull it towards the cuticle zone, leaving a 1 mm gap
- holding the form, fix the material on the nail with an LED flashlight for 10-15 sec
- turn the nail over and apply gel/acryl gel along the entire length of the form, building the free edge
- cure in LED lamp for 90-120 seconds
- remove the upper form and remove residual tackiness with Prep&Finish and a lint-free wipe
- remove the thinnest part of the claw - 5 mm of the free edge to prevent breakage in this part
- file the turns with a bit
6. Top: secure the coating with top coat. Cure in LED lamp – 90 seconds.
Recommended extension materials: Acryl Gel, one Drop Gel, Builder Gel
PRO tip: the design can be formed at the stage of placing the material into the form – add decor, pigments or textures before polymerization.
