Carbide cutters for manicure and pedicure are made from hard alloys containing tungsten and other elements. Diamond grinding is used to form and sharpen the cutting edge. Such manicure cutters are durable, efficient, and heat up much less during operation.
Carbide cutters can operate in one direction - clockwise (standard) and in two directions (reversible).
Unlike other attachments, carbide cutters cut the material, forming chips rather than dust. TCS burs are most often used to remove the upper keratinized layer of heels and calluses. These cutters are also ideal for reducing the thickness of gel and acrylic during correction or removal of artificial nails.
